| You will be responsible for
all shipping and insurance charges for returns, unless otherwise indicated.
If you choose not to insure your package, and we do not accept the return
of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage. Upon your
acceptance of the merchandise in like new conditions in conformity with
this policy, the purchase price will be credited to the credit card used
for the original purchase. For merchandise purchased with a gift card as
the sole payment method, we will refund the balance due to you back to a
new gift card unless the balance is less than $5 or prohibited by law. Allow
7 days (Not including delivery time for mail refunds) from when we accept
your returned product for the processing of your credit. Additional charges
may be assessed for products returned with any missing item, such as manuals
and accessories. For products that we verify to be defective, we will reimburse
you for your original shipping expenses.
If you're not completely satisfied with
a product, Kim's will gladly exchange or refund the purchase within 14
days of the sale date, except as noted below.
Digital cameras, camcorders, desktop PC's, notebook PC's, monitors,
printers, scanners, projectors, PDAs, mobile video, GPS, and radar detectors
must be returned within 7 days of the sale date, and (except where prohibited
by law) are subject to a 15% restocking fee if returned opened or in a
non-factory sealed box.
Plasma LCD ,DLP and color TV must be returned within 7 days of the sale
date, and (except where prohibited by law) are subjected to a 25% restocking
fee if returned opened or in a non-factory sealed box.
There is no restocking fee for defective product returned in exchange
for the exact same product, or for product originally purchased as open
box.
For any exchange or refund, we need the original receipt or a record
of the purchase in our system, and the product must be in its original
condition, including the box, UPC bar code packaging, and all accessories.
Opened software, music, games, and movies may be exchanged for the same
title only.
Charges for installation and delivery services are nonrefundable after
the services have been performed. Restocking fees do not apply to the
return of a purchase made from a Hawaii address. Kim's Electronics is
not responsible for contacting wireless carriers regarding changes or
cancellations of your service plan.
For in-store purchases, refunds
are issued in the original payment type. Refunds on check purchases less
than 7 days old and in excess of $100 are issued by check from our corporate
office within 7 days of the return date. The value of missing items will
be deducted from the credit amount of a return. For exchanges, we will
exchange what the costumer returns (e.g., box for box, manual for manual,
etc.)
